Payment methods
Payment methods available for a booking or subscription are displayed before payment. Payments may be processed by authorised third-party providers. LoafyCat may retain transaction identifiers, status, amounts, fees and settlement records.
Split checkout and payment-processor fees
LoafyCat checkout may be processed by authorised payment partners (including Curlec / Razorpay Malaysia Route). The guest pays the booking total; the LoafyCat platform fee is retained by LoafyCat and the Provider’s net share may be transferred to the Provider’s linked payout account. Separate payment-processing, route, transfer, refund and chargeback fees charged by the payment partner may apply under their terms and can reduce the net amounts received by LoafyCat or the Provider. Those processor fees are distinct from LoafyCat platform fees (4% or 12% as applicable, with a RM 2 minimum per checkout). LoafyCat platform fee
“LoafyCat platform fee” means the fee LoafyCat retains on each LoafyCat checkout booking payment: 4% or RM 2 per checkout, whichever is higher, for cat hotels on paid plans that use LoafyCat checkout; 12% or RM 2 per checkout, whichever is higher, for cat sitters. It is borne by the Provider, may be deducted from settlement, and is separate from payment-processing fees charged by payment partners. Cat hotels on paid subscription plans: 4% of the applicable booking payment or RM 2 per checkout, whichever is higher. Cat sitters: 12% of the applicable booking payment or RM 2 per checkout, whichever is higher. Rates may change prospectively with reasonable advance notice and do not retrospectively change completed transactions.
Refunds, chargebacks and settlement
Refunds, payment-processing fees, chargebacks and other adjustments may affect settlement. Examples at current rates: a RM100 paid-hotel LoafyCat checkout yields a RM4 platform fee; a RM3 paid-hotel checkout yields a RM2 platform fee; a RM100 cat-sitter LoafyCat checkout yields a RM12 platform fee, each before other applicable adjustments.
